Murchison Falls National Park apparently stands as the most visited of all the Uganda tour National Parks and its attractiveness is likely to keep the numbers coming which generates the need for more accommodation units. The Chief Executive Director of Uganda Wildlife Authority Andrew Seguya disclosed that three concessions will be given out for construction of three (3) safari lodges in various parts of the park. These will include a 40-bed lodge at the scenic Karuma Falls, 30-bed lodge at Bugungu along the Butiaba escarpment in the Albertine rift – one of the remarkable Uganda Safari features and eventually 30-bed lodge at Rwagongo forest. Belonging to the Redunca genus and Bovidae family, the Bohor reedbuck was initially described in the year 1767 by Peter Simon Pallas a German zoologist and features five (5) subspecies. Scientifically referred to as Phoeniconaias minor , the lesser flamingo is among the unique bird species explored by birders on Safari in Uganda . The historical Cantsbee silver-back in the Rwanda gorilla safari destination of Volcanoes National Park was reported by the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund trackers to have disappeared from his family on 10 th October 2016 and following the extensive search, this mighty silverback was eventually declared dead. The surprising moment was on January 4 th when the trackers encountered Cantsbee silver-back in his gorilla family though at a distance. The trackers made sure  that they took a closer look on the second day and everyone could not believe that it was Cantsbee thriving again. The gorilla which had earlier presumed to have fallen ill, left behind by his family and then succumbed to death was strong enough to fault all the beliefs.
