A mini spa is also available to treat visitors with the sweetest massages after a long day’s drive from Kampala, or after a day of Tracking Bwindi’s mountain Gorilla families while on a Safari and tour in Uganda.
Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp accommodates her guests in eight (8) luxury safari tents which are built in traditional African architectural styles using locally sourced materials like wood to form the unshakable pillars, and straw to form the roofing. The many amenities in every tent are perfectly selected to offer utmost comfort to Uganda Safari and Tours visitors in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Some of the contents of the Safari tents include two (2) cozy queen-sized beds, mosquito nets and a tempting bathtub. The Tents are well wired with electricity which is available through all the hours of the day ensuring that guest accommodations are finely lit and that they can charge their gadgets (especially the memory trapping cameras). Uganda Gorilla Safari Guests can enjoy amazing vistas of the Park’s life from the comfort of their rooms.
Although the lodge was designed principally for Bwindi’s guests, it is visited by some of the park’s fauna especially the birds, butterflies and primates. Guests mustn’t be surprised even when they see some of Bwindi’s celebrity animals (the mountain gorillas) walking past their tents. This may even happen before the day of the gorilla tracking or some times after the gorilla tracking has ended and that way guests can watch for a longer time; depending on how long the gorillas’ errands to the lodge will be on that particular day.
