Located at the entrance of the Buhoma sector at the main entry point of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Buhoma Community Rest Camp has affordable accommodation in form of bandas that have got private verandahs that present the travelers on a gorilla safari in Uganda with a remarkable view of the forest. The camp also has a camping provision and self-contained tents not forgetting the dormitory style accommodation. The Buhoma Community Rest Camp is a community run initiative thus sleeping there is one way of supporting the local people and at the same time indirectly contributing to mountain gorilla conservation as the local community continues to realize the significance of gorilla tourism.
