However many tourists who undertake gorilla trekking safaris to Rwanda’s Volcanoes national park mainly prefer encountering the mountain gorillas during the high season in the months of June to September and then December, January and February because during this season the trails in the park are walk- able and too much slippery compared to other low season when its rainy season.
In Rwanda, the first rains usually begin in late February through March and push up to April until late May.
