Uganda Tourist Arrivals Spurred TO 1.3M in 2014 – Uganda Tours News

In fact, it is interesting to note that the sector was the leading chief export for the country in the last financial year surpassing the traditional lead revenue generators like coffee and remittances from abroad.
The Uganda safari tour undertakers who rose from 600,000 in 2006 to 1.3 in 2014 imply the growing need world over to encounter the Uganda’s beautiful attractions and impressive tourist activities that prompt them to undertake safaris and tours in Uganda.
The rise in the tourist arrivals that wish to undertake Uganda safari tours can be attributed to the Uganda’s favorable political climate and infrastructural improvement featuring both air and road. However, there is still need for more investments to enable Uganda tap into new markets like Korea, China, Arabian Peninsula, America and Europe.

The Uganda’s tourism Marketing and promotion body the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) of recent involved three public relations firms to enhance its efforts in UK, Germany, Ireland, Switzerland and Australia. These efforts are sought to enhance the number of travelers that undertake safaris in Uganda including gorilla trekking safaris and tours in Uganda.
