Rwanda has always been considered as a home to mountain gorillas, this has helped the development of the tourism sector with in the country hence helping  in increase of gorilla trekking safaris in the country, this activity is so important to the country since it contributes high revenues to the country.
Gorilla tracking in Rwanda is so interesting sine it’s carried out with in the most famous park which is volcanoes National Park which is a home to over 400 mountain gorillas which have got unique and interesting features which are loved by the tourists who come for gorilla tracking safaris to Rwanda.
The mountain gorillas of Rwanda are subspecies of the eastern gorilla which are also located in Bwindi Impenetrable National park, and also in Virunga national park. These mountain gorillas have attracted many gorilla safaris which have helped in improving the tourism sector in the countries where they are found.
This activity of mountain gorilla tracking in Rwanda is so essential since it has helped in increasing the revenues of the tourism sector and also developing the tourism sector in Rwanda, this activity is normally carried out for only a few hours where by only 8 people are allowed to visit a particular group of mountain gorillas
Apart from the gorilla trekking in Rwanda, there are many activities which can be engaged in by the visitors, these include; chimpanzee trekking which is a common activity in Rwanda, cultural safaris, birding safaris and wildlife safaris and many more which can be enjoyed by visitors who come for safaris in Rwanda.

Mountain Gorilla Behavior,Diet,Threats and Predators
