The accommodation you chose for a mountain gorilla safari will depend on the gorilla permit. There are different groups which are located in different sectors. Some gorilla groups are located in the southern sector and others in the northern sector, and so a particular group which allocate a type of accommodate to have while trekking.
Porters and walking sticks can be hired before you start your trek, porters at $15 to carry your luggage and the sticks at $5 for easy walking.
