hippoKazinga channel has greatly attracted many Uganda safaris due to its diverse wildlife. The Kazinga channel in Uganda is a wide long natural channel that links Lake Edward and Lake George, and a dominant feature of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The channel attracts a varied range of animals and birds, with one of the world’s largest concentrations of Hippos and numerous Nile crocodiles.
Tourists who come for tour visits to Uganda will be exposed to Kazinga channel which is one of the most interesting places to visit during any safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park. A relaxing cruise of a couple of hours, lets to see hundreds of hippos, buffaloes, elephants and other typical Ugandan wildlife, immersed into a spectacular landscape. Most animals come here from the surrounding savannah, to drink and to search for some fresh grass.
